SATU Support Workers
The Galway Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU) opened its doors in 2009. The unit provides a multidisciplinary response to sexual assault and rape. GRCC work alongside Gardai and medical staff to provide psychological support services for survivors in the context of the SATU. This is a 24 hour, 365 day a year service.
GRCC are able to provide this service only because of the generosity of spirit of our team of SATU support workers.
